We’re all starting to think of next year’s holidays... and there’s nothing like chatting to experts face-to-face to help plan holidays that suit you to perfection.
Sunvil and its sister companies Expert Africa and GIC The Villa Collection are offering you a whole relaxed Saturday during which to Meet the Travel Experts, and we’re adding great value by holding our Meet the Travel Experts event at a venue that’s interesting in its own right – Strawberry Hill House, newly and expertly restored, and a real joy to see.
Close to a host of interesting places, you can enjoy a rewarding day in the Richmond and Twickenham area based around Meeting the Travel Experts. Chat to our team on holiday destinations that have caught your eye, and enjoy a free guided tour (worth £12.50 per guest) of the fascinating Gothic castle that was Horace Walpole’s home and which inspired buildings such as the Houses of Parliament. Take a light lunch with us (or elsewhere*). Explore the antique shops of Church Street, Twickenham or Richmond Green, or visit one of the fine nearby heritage riverside properties. *Read more about the local area

We’re fortunate to have the support of several tourist boards and their own Travel Experts – meet our colleagues at the tourist boards for Central America, the Alentejo (Portugal), Sweden, Cyprus and Greece.
Do join us on 19th November. The expert-guided tour of Strawberry Hill House is a “must”. It will be a fascinating day, meeting people who can really make a difference to your holiday plans via their personal knowledge of a huge range of destinations and who will introduce you to many lesser-known gems around the world. Their expertise will give you many happy hours over the winter months to come, dreaming and reading about your holiday plans for next year.
Outline Programme for the day
Coffee, tea, soft drinks and biscuits will be available throughout the day. A light buffet lunch of sandwiches will be available in the café from 12.00 pm to 2.30 pm – please pre-book for catering purposes. Please see the venue information sheet enclosed for travel details and access to the House. Please speak to a member of our team on the reception desk on arrival who will assist you and check space for the guided tours and presentations.
9.30 am Event opens
Visit our expert teams and tourist office colleagues in the Great Parlour (ground floor) and the Library (second floor – lift available if required) and attend a talk in the Little Parlour (ground floor) on a selected destination.

Guided tours of Strawberry Hill House - Please register for a tour on arrival. These will be operated on a first-come, first-served basis, 20 places maximum per tour. Each tour will last approximately 60 minutes.
House tour times: 10.30, 11.00, 14.00, 14.30 and 15.00
Lunch will be served in the Café between 12.00 noon and 2.30 pm
Prize draw at 4.30 pm

Please also indicate on the confirmation form if you plan to stay with us for a light buffet (and state any dietary requirements) – we need to know numbers for catering purposes, and we don’t want to run out of sandwiches!
