We're passionate about creating the perfect sailing holiday for you. Whether you are after all out action on the water or prefer quiet relaxation and rejuvenation, our sailing holidays have something to suit everyone.
Some people return to our base at Nidri year after year to explore the same sailing area or keep in touch with flotilla friends. Others return to Sunvil Sailing but prefer to try a new destination or area – we therefore have many varied routes and countries to choose from - there is always somewhere new to sail and explore.

The simple answer is that people of all walks of life go on sailing holidays. There are no hard and fast rules about coming on a sailing holiday but there is always some self discovery while on this type of active holiday. Our teams are experienced - willing and able to take your sailing to another level while maintaining your safety. We’ll be there to show you how to do it, allowing you to gain the most out of your experience. Sunvil Sailing is passionate about sailing – our sailing holidays are about having fun, learning something new or just brushing up on your sailing skills but most of all it’s about enjoyment.

Living Aboard - Learn to sail whilst living aboard a yacht and cruising the Ionian Islands. This is the perfect sailing holiday for beginners and those new to sailing. Under the watchful eye of an experienced skipper you’ll get right into the swing, learning the ropes whilst living aboard a yacht. |

Living Ashore – If you are a little unsure if a week or two on the water is for you then live ashore is the option. An experienced skipper will teach you all you need to know on a day basis, while at night you’ll return to the land comforts of a hotel or villa. |
FLOTILLA - The ultimate in social sailing is in a flotilla.

Flotilla sailing allows you to sail independently but with other yachts, sailing along side you. This sailing holiday provides a flexible itinerary ensuring you see the best of your chosen sailing area; it includes suggested places to visit, places to anchor during the day and places to moor at night. You’ll meet other members of the flotilla during the day and in the evening which adds to your enjoyment. |

Stay & Sail or "Villa Flotilla" holidays combine a sailing holiday with a land stay in a hotel, apartment or villa, a perfect way to round off your sailing holiday. You may combine any sailing holiday (learn to sail, flotilla, potluck, chartered skipper or bareboat sailing) with a stay on land. |

Bareboat charter is perfect for the experienced skipper and crew. A bareboat charter is where you hire and sail the yacht yourself, we supply no crew just the yacht. It allows you to go virtually anywhere you want, sailing at your own pace. Although you are sailing independently, if you encounter any problems, help is at hand from either one of our lead flotilla yachts or our 24 hour emergency breakdown service. |
SKIPPERED CHARTER

If you like the idea of a sailing holiday but do not wish to actually sail, Skippered Charter is the option for you, your experienced skipper will sail the yacht while you spend time relaxing, enjoying the scenery, reading or daydreaming. You may be asked to lend a hand when necessary, throw a rope a shore etc but the rest of the time is your own. |

If your party is too small for you to charter a sailing yacht or you are an experienced sailor travelling alone, our Potluck Yacht is the ideal sailing holiday for you.
