This elegantly styled hotel is conveniently located on a main shopping street in the historical centre of Ponta Delgada. The building is divided in to two, the original wing where the rooms are carpeted and have dark wood furnishings and the new wing, decorated in a modern minimalist style. There are two seating areas on the first floor, a winter garden, café bar, an excellent restaurant specialising in seafood and regional dishes and a rooftop swimming pool – unique for a city  hotel. This well situated hotel provides a good base from which to explore the delights of the capital.

• The suites, located  on the second floor, have either a separate living room or a designated living area within one large open-plan room and can accommodate two extra beds for adults or children.
