Arsos holidays
One of the largest wineproducing villages on the island, Arsos is a 30 minute drive from Paphos airport and 60 minutes from Larnaca. Built on the slopes of Laona Mountain,the village is 1092 meters above sea level with views over the Diarizos river valley and the sea beyond. The village is known for the hospitality of its inhabitants and especially for the cooking prowess of the housewives who specialise in many traditional Cypriot sweets derived from grape juice such as Palouze and Shoudjiouko. There are two mini-markets, coffee shop, taverna, bakery and museum.
