Mega Yacht Cruises Greece
Mega Yacht Cruises Greece holidays
Cruise the Greek Islands on the handsome M/S Galileo, operated by Variety Cruises, and discover a very different world to that of the large cruise ships. The Galileo is a classic 51m steelhulled motor-sailer accommodating no more than 50 passengers. This fosters an atmosphere more like that of a private yacht, and enables visits to unusual islands, quayside docking and ports of call impossible for larger vessels. The 1 week cruise operates every Friday from April to end-October. We can also offer conventional Greek Island cruises on large ships calling in at well known ports such as Crete, Rhodes, Kusadasi (Turkey) – please ask for details.
M/S Galileo
The ship’s interior was renovated in 2007 and has 26 outside cabins. All possess double or twin beds, air-conditioning and ensuite shower/wc – we would describe the cabins as comfortable rather than luxurious. Categories B and C are on the lower deck with porthole, category A are larger and on the upper deck with window. The main deck houses the lounge with American bar and an elegant dining room. Outside there is a shaded deck area with bar and a sun deck with sunloungers and deckchairs.
