Tolon and Nafplion

The Romvi occupies a prime beachfront position at the ‘old village’ end of Tolon, a short walk from the harbour, high street, and cafés and tavernas. It is a typically Greek ‘small and friendly’ hotel.

The hotel comprises only 14 rooms and a Family Suite on its upper two floors (note, no lift but entrance is from the rear onto the middle floor). Most are twin-bedded (there is one double on the middle floor) and some can take an extra bed for a child only. All our rooms possess individual air conditioning, a fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, a balcony, and simple décor and furnishing. Half the rooms directly overlook the sea, and enjoy lovely views over the bay and small islets offshore. Sunvil's allocated sea view rooms are mostly on the middle (first) floor - so any adjacent rooms requested will be here (a double and a twin) - and our rooms all possess a nicely modernised (2012) shower room.

The Family Suite comprises two rooms – one double at the front with sea view, one twin at the rear – each with air conditioning and its own balcony. There are also light cooking facilities (2 rings, fridge), a shower room with wc, and an additional wc ensuite to the rear bedroom. Please note the bathrooms in this unit are small and were not modernised as our sea view double rooms in 2012.

The large covered terrace downstairs houses a good restaurant (try the fish soup!). The terrace provides a welcome escape from the heat of the day where you can enjoy a drink or an ice-cream in the shade. The hotel provides sunbeds and umbrellas free of charge on the beach for Sunvil guests.

The warm atmosphere, wonderful views, home cooking and excellent location draw many guests back to this charming little hotel year after year.
