Tolon and Nafplion

Regular guests will be pleased to learn that Lido Apartments have had a comprehensive upgrade over winter 2012. Decor has been refreshed and new equipment, fixtures and fittings installed, along with some new furniture.

Lido is our main accommodation in Tolon and exclusive to Sunvil. We selected it for its very spacious accommodation and excellent location, being in a quiet side street a minute or two’s walk from the beach and the street (with no hills to negotiate). To the front, across the side road, the Lido has its own large freshwater swimming pool (depth 1m- 1.75m) with poolside furniture.

Built around a courtyard in a number of 2-storeyed blocks, all units have air-conditioning. The studios are first (top) floor with twin beds, kitchenette (minioven, hob, fridge); shower room with wc; and balcony or sun terrace. They can take an extra bed with ease.

The 1-bedroomed apartments have a twin bedroom; living room area (again spacious with a twin or double sofa-bed or two single beds), kitchenette (minioven, hob, fridge - one named Aphrodite II has a larger kitchen area and a full cooker); bathroom with half-bath, shower, wc; and balcony or terrace.

The 2-bedroomed apartments are on three levels maisonette style. They comprise an upper ground floor openplan living room with a double-bedded sleeping gallery above and a cool lowerground floor twin or triple bedroom. Other facilities are as per the 1-bedroom.

There is also a detached 3-bedroom unit called Villa Thalia which sleeps up to 8 persons. Also built on three levels, Thalia comprises an upper ground floor containing a separate double bedroom, living room with kitchenette (mini-oven, rings, fridge), bathroom with shower and wc, and front terrace. The lower ground floor has two twin bedrooms (interconnecting, so for families only) and a second bathroom with full bath, shower, wc. The living room has a twin/double sofa-bed and, above, a small gallery which can be used as a second sitting area. This leads onto an open rooftop sun terrace (shared with the solar panels to one side!).

An iron and ironing board can be supplied on request locally in all units.

Lido has always been well priced, and we now consider it to offer even better value after its recent renovation.

Air-conditioning: Available at a local charge of 8 Euros per day.


Free Water Sports
All guests booking a holiday to Lido Apartments before 30th April can take advantage of up to 3 hours windsurf and/or dinghy sailing at no cost. Simply tell us which members of your party wish to take up our 'Taste of Water Sports' offer at the time of booking and ensure it shows on your holiday confirmation invoice. Basic introductory help can be provided for €5 (payable locally at the start of the session) but this is not formal tuition. Your three hours can be spread over the holiday and disciplines can be mixed. Please see our resort representative on arrival in Tolon to finalise arrangements.
