Holidays in Tokhni

An attractive and friendly village, which has a population of four hundred. Cyprus Villages have their base on the upper slopes of this village which has retained its character. There are a number of small shops, coffee shops, taverna and grocer (mini market) as well as a bank. In 325 AD St. Helena built a bridge with a church in the village centre to shelter a fragment of the True Cross. Part of this building was incorporated into an adjacent 14th century church which was subsequently destroyed by fire and was replaced in the 19th century.
