Included in your Europcar rental:

2. Collision Damage Insurance Cover. In the event of an accident this insurance covers the full value of the vehicle. However you remain liable for the excess amount 7500nok (Groups A, B and C) and 10000nok (Groups D, E, F and G). Please note that this insurance does not cover damage to the vehicle’s tyres, undercarriage or windscreen.
3. Theft Insurance Cover. In the event that the rented vehicle is stolen this insurance covers the full value of the car. However you remain liable for the excess amount of 7500nok (Groups A, B and C) and 10000nok (Groups D, E, F and G).
4. All local taxes.
Notes:
1. Cars will be supplied with a full tank of petrol and clients will be required to leave a maximum deposit of 1875nok. A credit card imprint will be taken to cover local extras or any excess charges in the case of an accident. The deposit will be refunded when the car is returned with a full tank of fuel. Drivers returning a car without a full tank of fuel will incur a refuelling charge (the cost of the missing fuel plus 25%). This charge is payable locally.
2. A charge of 38nok per day (maximum of 525nok per rental) is payable locally for each additional driver.
3. A valid, full UK, EU or international driving licence, issued not less than one year prior to rental is required.
4. Driving is on the right.
5. Minimum age for drivers is 19 years (Groups A, B, C and D) and 25 years (Groups E, F and G). A young drivers (19-23 years) charge of 157nok per day is payable locally.
6. A one-way charge applies to cars collected and returned to different locations. Charges are on request and payable locally.
7. Infant/baby and booster seats for children up to 12 years are now compulsory with all car rentals in Norway. A baby seat (0-12 months) costs 250nok per rental. A toddler seat (1-3 years) costs 250nok per rental. An infant seat (4-7 years) costs 250nok per rental. Seats for children aged 8-12 years are on request and payable locally.
8. We can request, but not guarantee a particular make of car or engine size.
9. We are not liable for any police or traffic fines incurred by clients.
10. Delivery and collection charges are on request and payable locally. International one-way charges are on request and payable locally.
11. These conditions also apply to car hire already included within the cost of our holiday. All local charges quoted here include VAT (25%).
12. Our insurance does not cover any personal belongings stolen while left unattended in a hire car, unless in a locked and covered compartment (valuables are not covered).
13. Airports are open 365 days a year. Airport office hours vary but generally the major airports open between 0800-2200hrs. After hours airport charge is 375NOK payable locally.
14. Please advise us, at the time of booking, of any ENDORSEMENTS ON YOUR LICENCE.
Not included (payable locally):
1. Super Collision Damage Insurance can be purchased locally at a rate of 63nok per day. By purchasing the SCDW Insurance, the excess charge payable in the event of an accident is reduced to a maximum of 1250nok.
2. Super Theft Waiver Insurance can be purchased locally at a rate of 63nok per day. By purchasing the STW Insurance, the excess charge payable in the event of an accident is reduced to a maximum of 1250nok.
3. Personal Accident Insurance (PAI). This insurance will cover the cost of any personal medical costs incurred in the event of an accident. This insurance is optional and payable locally at 82nok per day. Please note that Sunvil travel insurance provides limited personal insurance and covers medical costs. If you have not purchased Sunvil travel insurance, please check with your insurance company prior to departure to see if you will be covered.
4. An airport surcharge of 438nok is payable locally.
