Day
1

On arrival at Stockholm Arlanda airport, you will be transferred to the Skeppsholmen Hotel in the centre of Stockholm by private taxi.

The Skeppsholmen Hotel is a ‘breathe of fresh air’ when it comes to city hotels. Located on the island of Skeppsholmen, from which it takes its name, the hotel is bordered by water and green, natural spaces yet is only 15 minutes’ walk from from Stockholm’s historic centre and the Royal Palace. Overnight at the Skeppsholmen Hotel in Stockholm.

Day
2

The Swedish capital elegantly combines medieval heritage with modernity and tranquillity. It is no wonder that Stockholm regularly appears in the list of the world’s greatest cities to live (number 20 in 2017). Spend your day exploring Stockholm’s attractions with your Stockholm Pass (included in your package). Your Pass provides free boat and bus tours, as well as complimentary access to a wealth of renowned attractions: the Vasa Museum, Skansen open air museum, the Royal Palace, the Nobel Museum, the Nordic Museum and Fotografiska to name but a few. Be sure to take a break from your sightseeing to enjoy a fika, an everyday Swedish tradition which involves making time for coffee with friends, colleagues and loved ones. Of course, coffee is accompanied by pastries and cakes; our favourite is the kanelbullen, a warming cinnamon bun. Overnight at the Skeppsholmen Hotel in Stockholm.

Day
3

Continue your exploration of Stockholm. For those wishing to get off the beaten track, or wishing to see the city through the eyes of a local resident, we would recommend taking a tour on the underground - yes, we know it is a strange recommendation but trust us. Stockholm’s underground stations have been turned into an art project with more than 90 of the 100 stations decorated with paintings, installations, mosaics and sculptures. Alternatively, why not join a tour by bicycle (Stockholm is a cycle-friendly city), a rib boat safari or even walk along the rooftops of the city. If you are travelling during the winter months, ice skating tours along the city’s canals are also on offer. Overnight at the Skeppsholmen Hotel in Stockholm.

Day
4

Transfer by private taxi to Stockholm Arlanda airport for your return flight to the UK.

Enjoy your last few hours in Stockholm. If you have not already done so, be sure to visit one of the city’s food halls (saluhalls) where you can stock up on delicious, fresh, local produce and even enjoy lunch. We are particular fans of Swedish crisp bread and their hard cheese (yummmm… vasterbotten).
