Situated 150km north of the Arctic Circle, in the rural hamlet of Kangos, Pine Tree Lodge is the ideal property for guests wishing to immerse themselves in the unspoiled wilderness of Northern Sweden. Away from light pollution this owner-managed property is well-positioned to offer wonderful sightings of the awe-inspiring Aurora Borealis, and with husky-dog kennels and an activity company based on site the opportunity to participate in a host of winter activities.
 
Guests are welcomed as friends; the atmosphere is warm and cosy and the food, locally sourced and home-cooked. Owners, Johan and Sara are on hand to attend to the needs of their guests and to provide insights into the local history and culture.
 
Accommodation:

Accommodation is divided between five wooden buildings: Pine Tree Lodge, Husky Lodge and three independent Lake Cabins. Rooms are cleaned every 2nd day. Towels changed on request.
 
Pine Tree Lodge (main building): Ground floor: Open-plan lounge, bar and dining room with wood burning fireplace First floor (no lift): 10 standard rooms with bathroom (shower). The rooms are comfortable and for 2 persons only. Hairdryers available on request from reception.
 
Husky Lodge: 4 standard rooms with bathroom (shower). The rooms are comfortable and for 2 persons only. Communal lounge with wood burning fireplace and view over a nearby lake.  Located 300m from the main building.
 
Northern Lights Cabins: Three 1-bedroom cabins. The cabins have a bathroom (shower), sitting room with wood burning fireplace and sofa bed.   Located c.50-150m from the main building.
 
Amenities/Leisure:
