MV Santa Cruz II commenced operations in the Galapagos in October 2015. It is operated by Metropolitan Touring, one of the most respected cruise operators in the Galapagos and sails 4 or 5 night itineraries. These can be combined to form 9 or 13 night sailings.
The Santa Cruz II carries 90 guests in 50 air-conditioned cabins and suites over 3 decks. Some cabins can accommodate 3 people. Just over two-thirds of the cabins are interconnecting, making this boat ideal for families. All cabins have large picture windows allowing unobstructed views. In-cabin facilities include a hairdryer, safe deposit box and an i-Pod/MP3 Player docking station.
There are spacious public areas including a large restaurant, an area for al-fresco dining, two lounges, a library, gift shop, sun deck, fitness area and hot tub. MV Santa Cruz II also carries a glass-bottom boat, kayaks and pangas. Snorkelling gear is included in the cost. Cruises will also carry up to 6 expert Naturalist guides with the average group size of 11 guests per guide.
