Nordoyggjar is the northern islands of Kalsoy, Kunoy, Bordoy, Vidoy, Svínoy and Fugloy. These are islands of legends and dramatic vistas. Klaksvik is the main town of these islands which boast some of the most dramatic bird cliffs in the world. The highest (the cliffs at Enniberg) at 750 metres are located, in the northernmost part of Vidoy. The cliffs are accessible on foot from the village of Vidareidi and we recommend a guided walk to reach the most dramatic views safely. Of course you can also experience the cliffs by boat from either Klaksvik or Hvannasund.
