Just a quick note to tell you how much we enjoyed our week with the Learn to Sail.  We joined this to see if we would enjoy it and also if we were fit enough to do this in our retirement! Colin had the best holiday ever I myself also realized that this was an enjoyable hobby and we fully intend to try for our Day skippers sometime next year...We have and will continue to recommend the sailing holiday we have several friends who are thinking of trying this out themselves.  I hope they do.

We both had a great holiday- really enjoyed it. The weather was great- warm but not too hot... There were lots of lovely places to visit- we stopped in some really nice secluded bays and anchored. We followed the route of the Flotilla and met up with them most evenings- so it was all very socialable... We felt it was all well organised and the Lead Skipper was knowledgeable and helpful. We also liked the fact that is was  small company and we were not herded about like the the bigger companies seemed to.  LC, Sept 2007

‘I wanted to say a huge thank you to you and the team. The trip I took was amazing. I loved it on so many levels. I love the water and have grown up in & around it in Lake Macquarie Australia. So in that aspect, and the climate, I felt completely at home. But, the food, the company, and the sailing were fantastic. Furthermore, the skippers really made the experience something else. They were great instructors, extremely patient, and encouraging. I felt safe at all times and felt I learnt a lot during the two weeks I was there. ‘Just to let you know we had a brilliant holiday. We enjoyed other sailing holidays, but this was far more professional but at the same time a lot more relaxed. A big thanks has to go to the support crew who gave me a lot of advice without patronising... I think a lot of it is down to the flotilla being a little smaller and not rushing to get in at night. The other thing is, without wishing to offend, is that the support crew were a little older and much more mature than the young sailors in other companies. That reflected in their staying power, the ability to get up in morning and they had all the time in the world for you. ‘I wanted to drop you a quick line to let you know what a fantastic time my husband and I had on our recent learn to sail break - followed by a week at the Armonia Hotel. It was our first attempt at sailing and we have both come away hooked, and are already looking forward to our next trip out on the water.  Our skipper was superb and did a wonderful job of making us both feel at ease (I was rather nervous to begin with!) and of identifying our stronger and weaker areas. We came away feeling that we'd worked hard yet had had a really good break (didn't think about life back in London all week).
