Latchi holidays
Between Polis and the Baths of Aphrodite, Latchi is rather more a collection of fish tavernas and tourist shops than a village. A relaxing place to come to for freshly caught fish at a waterside restaurant after a walk in the peaceful Akamas or a swim at one of the nearby beaches.
There are souvenir shops and banks as well as tavernas and bars. Boat trips along the coast leave regularly from the harbour, and small motorboats can be rented for the day allowing one to explore the Akamas coastline. ‘Latchi Watersports’ are based here. Latchi boasts a European Blue Flag Beach.
In the hills above Aphrodite’s Beach nestles the large and pretty village of Neohorio, the gateway to the Akamas National Park and the starting point for some excellent walks.
