An idyllic, quiet location immersed in nature awaits guests of Lauklines. Originally built as a trading post, these six beautiful cabins have been carefully renovated and offer a high standard of accommodation directly on the waterfront of Kattfjord. Each spacious detached cabin boasts a fully equipped kitchenette and spectacular fjord views from the open-plan lounge and open terrace.
Owner-managed by Andreas Nilsen and his family, Lauklines Kystferie is an ideal base for those wishing to relax, explore the archipelago surrounding Tromsø or for those wishing to participate in fishing and water activities as well as hiking, cycling and bird watching. This is a particularly good location to spot grouse, foxes, elk, reindeer, crabs and sea eagles.
The winter on the island of Kvaløya is peaceful and dramatic, and is a breathtaking village in which to be based in order to catch a glimpse of the illusive Northern Lights. Highly recommended!
