In a prime location for nature lovers, in the heart of the Sierra de Cazorla, Segura and Las Villas National Park, is where you will find the Parador de Cazorla. Within the province of Jaen, 26km along a steep and windy road from Cazorla itself, in an area known as Sacejo, the property is surrounded with pine tree covered mountain slopes, dense vegetation and fauna, beautiful views and serenity.

Providing humble accommodation, the Parador is perfectly placed for hiking in the mountains and other outdoor activities. The Parador restaurant, at 1400m above sea level, is the highest restaurant in the Nature Reserve and its menu includes seasonal game dishes and house specialities. Lunch and dinner can be taken on the terrace during the summer months.

The Sierra de Cazorla, Segura and Las Villas National Park is full of delights waiting to be discovered by nature enthusiasts: lakes and reservoirs; waterfalls (Linarejos and Salto de los Organos being two of the most glorious); gorges; ancient trees; vulture nests and the source of the Guadalquivir River, the most important river in Andalucia, at Cañada de las Fuentes. Sights to see in the area include Peal de Becerro (40km) with its Iberian burial chamber of Toya; Torre del Vinagre botanical garden (25km); the castle ruins in the small town of La Iruela (28km) and La Yedra castle (near Cazorla).
