The El Cristobal restaurant serves the freshest seafood, international cuisine, and native Costa Rican dishes. The dining room is elegantly furnished with beautiful wood of the Cristobal tree. The restaurant features a casual, yet romantic setting with a breathtaking view of the ocean. Aperitifs, cocktails, and after-dinner drinks are served at the Tango Bar. For lunch and refreshments at the beach or poolside, the Rancho Grill “El Pirata” throughout the day serves drinks, sandwiches, cocktails, salads and light meals.

The stylish guest rooms combine fine accommodations with lush jungle vegetation, tropical birds and wildlife, making it the ideal hideaway to enjoy refinement in a natural setting. The Beach Front Rooms are spacious facing the beach where you can hear the lapping surf as you head off to sleep. Behind these are the Tiki Suites, five Polynesian style wood and bamboo cabanas sitting on stilts located near the main facilities with an elevated position with partial views of the ocean. Set atop a hill above the main hotel are the Tropical Suites. Each Tropical Suite has a hand carved four post canopy king size bed. All rooms have air conditioning, ceiling fans, Jacuzzi (suites only), hair dryer, minibar, coffee maker, safe deposit box, telephone and satellite TV.

The resort also has three villas, the Royal Villa and Robinson Crusoe Villa are both loctaed on the beachfront with superb ocean views and the Golf course Villa with views of the course and the garden.

Tango Mar offers a wide variety of tours that enable guests to discover the protected Nicoya Peninsula. They include horseback riding along the beach to Montezuma and boat-tours to Tortuga Island for snorkeling, deep-sea fishing and scuba diving. The natural wildlife of Cabo Blanco Strict Nature Reserve and Curu National Wildlife Refuge are nearby and guided visits can be arranged to learn about the flora and fauna of the area.

Tropical Suites

(35 sqm) These unique and charming rooms are built in elliptical-shaped clusters of three and surrounded by tropical gardens. Located on a hill at 250 feet (80m) from the beach and golf course. Each suite is graced with a hand carved king size bed and Jacuzzi. The private bath is equipped with all necessary amenities such as a shower and a hairdryer. Tiki Suites - Bungalow

(40 sqm) These Polynesian-style cottages are located only 200 feet (60m) from the beach. Decorated with wood and bamboo, they feature a hand carved wooden King-sized bed. Royal Villa

(435 sqm) This beach front villa offers a peaceful and relaxing setting in a deluxe ambience. The 3 levels of this villa have commanding bedrooms, the swimming pool and whirlpool; the third level has one room, a fully equipped kitchen, living room and large terrace with a beautiful ocean view.
