BO Hotel Palazzo

A historic hotel that started out looking after visiting European aristocracy when the hotel opened its doors in 1910. The location is spectacular at the end of the town centre promenade and nothing beyond but the Adriatic Sea. In fact, the hotel is surrounded by sea on three sides while on the front terrace it feels like two sides.

It’s stylish and if you are standing at the main entrance looking through the restaurant out to the sea there is a feel of Venice about it. Perhaps it is the glittering Murano glass chandeliers and ornate mirrors that do it?

There are many repeat visitors and many comment about “feeling as if we are on a film set” when sitting on the terrace sipping a cool drink at sunset. It’s a really special location and the hotel has a boutique style feel.

The seaside terrace is a place where many guests spend a lot of time, reading a book, enjoying a coffee or relaxing at the pool.

High ceilings, works of art depicting old Porec and the location close to the historic centre of Porec all make this hotel very special.

The main Ritzi restaurant continues the stylish theme of the jet-set era with both indoor and waterfront terrace seating. The Spa has a wide range of treatments and services and an expansion and upgrade are planned in time for the 2023 season.

The sea in front of the hotel is too deep for swimming so other nearby beaches include one near the harbour and on St Nikola Island, visible from the hotel terrace and just a 5-minute boat ride away.

This is a perfect hotel for couples and we’ve seen some wonderful celebrations here for special dates and anniversaries.
