A truly elegant, five-star hotel which feels contemporary and cosy at the same time. There are no vast public areas and this adds to an intimate feel, as with a boutique hotel even though there are 112 rooms and suites. Throughout, the use of natural fabrics in cool beige and cream tones gives a feeling of calm and style.

Located within the ancient protected Zlatni Rat forest on one side and overlooking the Adriatic on the other, this is a beautiful spot where guests wake up to birdsong and the smell of the sea and pines.

With huge panoramic windows, the views from almost everywhere are fantastic across the Lone Bay and the pebble beach.

One of our favourite spots is the Gin Bar and Library with sumptuous velvet seating and exquisite Murano glass chandelier. There’s a lovely outdoor terrace with great views, yet we like relaxing here on the rare grey evening when this bar-with-a-club feel twinkles with a warm glow.

Excellent cuisine and fine wines with knowledgeable sommeliers and over 350 labels of the finest Croatian and international wines are maybe why local residents often choose a dinner here for a special occasion. The Mediterraneo a la carte restaurant is the place for a rich buffet breakfast or dinner, where the menu blends the best of Mediterranean and Croatian cuisine with locally sourced, seasonal ingredients. Three, five and seven course menus are on offer.

The Wine Vault Restaurant - Levante edition, appears almost like a hidden wine cellar with classic brick arches and eclectic golden lighting. The a la carte menu here is inspired by Mediterranean meze and sharing dishes mixed with a blend of oriental spices.

Amatis may well be the smallest restaurant in Croatia. It offers a romantic private dining terrace with just one table for two, a unique setting overlooking Lone Bay where a special a la carte menu is offered. 

Mulini Beach is a luxurious outdoor area. The beach is perfect for relaxing during the day or evening. A stone deck with a bar in the very centre. There are sunbeds, parasols, towels, toilets, changing rooms, showers and, of course, access into the Adriatic sea. From late spring to autumn, a wide range of drinks is on offer including cocktails, energy drinks, a wide selection of food, SUP and kayak hire. In the evening Mulini Beach becomes a chill out lounge bar with DJ sounds.

Art Wellness is the name of the luxurious spa inspired by water, wood, stone and gold. The list of therapeutic treatments is vast including massage and a couples treatment among others. The spa extends over 700 square metres and has a small indoor pool.

Guests can also use the larger pool and spa centre of Hotel Lone which is accessed by a connecting hallway. A Pop-Up fashion boutique with creations by local designers is usually open daily near the entrance to the spa.
