Petit Palais Boutique Hotel

This lovely 2 - star boutique hotel is exactly what a small mountain hotel should be. It is cosy, intimate and overwhelmingly friendly. This is a fully refurbished (2020), well nigh reconstructed property and of a 4-star standard. The panoramic cantilevered restaurant which seemingly hangs in the air is innovative in its cuisine and features many local and seasonal dishes. Breakfast is comprehensive and also unusually includes an egg menu.

Originally built in 1936, one of the original hotels of this chief mountain resort in Cyprus, it is located at the junction of the two roads accessing the centre of Pano Platres (upper Platres) and 250 metres from the main square. Cafes and restaurants are close at hand. The hotel stands at 1,200 metres above sea level and is 1hr 23 min drive from Larnaca Airport and 59 minutes from Paphos Airport.

 A new breed of mountain hotels which will rejuvenate tourism to the most beautiful of Cyprus regions which is still unknown to visitors. A perfect base for a twin or multi centre holiday on the island.

 ACCOMMODATION

• The 34 double or twin bedded rooms, including four suites, are arranged over four floors and are either village or mountain view. Some rooms interconnect to accommodate families. 
• All floors are accessed by lift and rooms (average 16 sqm) are either mountain or village view and have either window or balcony. Bathrooms are with shower. All rooms have a desk, mini bar, safe deposit box, hair dryer, mini safe and tea and coffee facilities. Double beds are either queen or king size.
• One bedroom (queen suites) have a small living room area and additionally have bathrobes and an espresso machine. The King Suite has one double and one twin bedded bedroom and a living area that can accommodate 2 more children on a double settee. An espresso machine is also included. Bathroom is with bath. All suites have balconies with either village or mountain views. Queen suites can sleep up to four persons and king suites upto 6.
• There are two double bedded single rooms which can accommodate one adult and one child and one room for persons with special needs.
