Sunday Morning Resort

Nestled within the fell scenery of the Pyha-Luosto National Park, 90 minutes’ drive from Rovaniemi Airport, is this high-quality lakeside resort. The resort reflects Finnish Lapland’s nature and culture in its design, materials and cuisine. 

Surrounded by peaceful forest, the resort has a base, main lodge with four stylish double rooms, a dining room, cosy lobby bar and guest lounge area with fireplace. A modern, electric sauna is in the main building. There are an additional 4 Aihki apartments in 2 duplex houses in the courtyard. All the buildings are constructed of old pine timber but the interiors are newly renovated and modern. 

The Aihki restaurant serves a cooked breakfast and very tasty seasonal dinner menus. To add to the experience, there is also a lakeside dinner hut serving special Lappish delicacies. All the ingredients are sourced from local producers and the chefs forage for wild food.  Nature and its preservation are very important here. Both the resort and its restaurant are carbon neutral.  Waste is recycled and biodegradable waste composted.

A perfect base for a relaxing but also a stimulating break with an extensive range of activities to cater for everyone’s interests.

Accommodation

4 rooms located in a peaceful wing of the main lodge. These each accommodate 2 persons and have balconies with lake views, wide twin beds with intelligent mattresses that can be pushed together to make a double, smart TV, WiFi, bathroom with shower with steam, sauna and massage features, hairdryer, drying cabinet and bathrobes and slippers.

4 Aihki apartments are set in 2 duplex houses. Each apartment has a bedroom for two persons, living room with wooden fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and electric sauna. Three more beds can be provided in an upstairs spacious loft area. The apartments can therefore sleep up to 5 persons. They are equipped with a smart TV, WiFi and minibar.  

New for Autumn 2024, the Aamu suites have magnificent lake and fell views, designed to cater to small families and couples who value comfort and a touch of luxury. Each Suite spans 47 m² across two levels, featuring a cosy living room space and a lofted bedroom (there is a double bed in the loft and a sofa bed downstairs). Guests will enjoy high-end amenities similar to the double rooms and Aihki-apartments, such as intelligent mattresses, high-speed Wi-Fi, smart TVs, and rain showers.
