Aeolos Hotel

This stylish small hotel is located towards the eastern end of the village, a 5-minute walk from the beach here and a couple of minutes more from the centre.

Designed in the attractive island style, the rooms are housed in various 2-storey buildings set around the pool and pretty Mediterranean gardens. The rooms are very spacious (35 sq m) and twin or double bedded. All possess AC, WiFi, tea-making facilities, fridge, TV, shower room, room safe and balcony or terrace with sea, garden or pool views.

The hotel also has some Family Rooms which have a double bedroom plus a separate living room with two sofa beds (total area 70 sq m).

The good-sized pool has steps in, plenty of space around it and an adjacent pool bar serving drinks and snacks throughout the day.

The helpful owners provide plenty of local information and a friendly family run atmosphere.

The village has a good choice of some dozen taverna restaurants as well as cafe-bars and small shops along its pretty main street, and the beach is sandy, wide and gently shelving into azure-hued waters. Three super white-sand beaches can be reached via a coastal path in 15 to 30 minutes. Pori beach, regarded as the best on the island (which is saying something), is 35 minutes’ walk. All these beaches can be quickly and easily reached by regular water taxi from the harbour.
