Theoxenia Luxury Apartments

What a surprise to find such high standards of modern design and comfort on such a small remote Greek island as Kassos! The explanation is that the owner lives and works in the USA for much of the year but always had a dream to invest in his home island, one day to return permanently. The Theoxenia is the result.

There are just four apartments here, a pair on each floor, built to very high standards and incorporating the latest equipment and contemporary interior design. All are spacious, comprising a living room with comfy sofas, large flat-screen TV, fitted kitchen area with full cooker and fridge-freezer, bedroom with luxury bedding (king-sized bed), bathroom with rainwater shower, and at least two balconies with either sea or mountain views. Of course the apartments are fully air conditioned and have WiFi, also a safety deposit box, hairdryer and washing machine. Some have a brass telescope to shipwatch!

The main difference between the standard and the deluxe apartments is that the former are on the ground floor with brown decor and two front balconies (plus a common rear terrace) and the latter on the first floor, being slightly larger, have three or even four balconies and blue decor.

The Theoxenia is on the edge of Panayia, one of the small hamlets a little above and behind Fry. It is 1100m (c 16 mins. walk) down to Emborios beach and the tavernas there and a little more to the centre of Fry (1300m / 20 mins walk). However the owner provides a ‘transportation on demand’ service for his guests at a nominal charge, using an electric car or small minibus which will take you to and collect you from the beach, town or restaurant (or anywhere else you may wish to go) at the time of your choosing.

Although fully equipped for self catering a breakfast basket is delivered to your apartment daily.

Given the standards here we consider the Theoxenia to represent excellent value for money.
