Pedi Beach Hotel

Pedi is a very peaceful bay one along from Symi Town, which can be reached by foot, bus, taxi or water taxi. It is an ideal choice for those wanting plenty of peace and quiet, fine views and excellent swimming and walking on your doorstep, with access to brighter lights if desired.

The hotel underwent a major renovation in 2021, resulting in an upgrade to 4 star status. Located at the head of a beautiful green valley, it has a small sand/shingle beach directly to the front which shelves gently into a clear calm sea. It is a long established family-run hotel of some 56 rooms on its two floors (note: no lift), fully refurbished to offer most comfortable and attractively styled accommodation with sea, garden or mountain views.

The ground floor houses a restaurant for breakfast, dinner and a la carte lunches, a lounge and bar. To the front there is a spacious sun terrace with sun loungers free for guests, and steps lead down to the small sheltered beach below which also has sun beds. Beach towels are provided by the hotel.

Pedi Bay has two tavernas and a small shop. The town can be easily reached on foot (c 30-40 mins up the valley to the upper town, Chorio), by taxi, by regular local bus (runs to quite late), or by seasonal water taxi to the harbour (they also run to other nearby beaches).

An excellent choice for those wanting a quiet holiday with good walking and swimming on your doorstep, yet easy access to town.
