Delfinia Hotel

This long-established hotel occupies a superb position, in our view one of the best on the island. It stands in extensive natural grounds above the sea, 1300 m from the start of Molyvos (a 20 minute walk).

The hotel has 125 rooms, bungalows and suites. All those in the main building plus the deluxe garden bungalows are newly renovated (2026) in a fresh modern style and possess WiFi, A/C, TV, mini-fridge, shower room, hairdryer and a private balcony with sea, garden or mountain views.

The main building houses the reception, lounge, bar and the terrace restaurant.

The gardens are natural Mediterranean and full of trees, shrubs and birdsong (we heard a nightingale).

Within the grounds, close to the sea, is the beautifully large 200 sq m seawater pool - the views to Molyvos are fabulous from here. A poolside bar and taverna operate during the day. The hotel also has tennis courts (local charge, equipment can be rented).

The long sand-shingle below has sunbeds and and shelves gently into the sea.

The Delfinia is recommended for a totally relaxing and most comfortable stay in natural surroundings within a short walk of one of the most attractive, atmospheric and historic villages you could find.

Set in mature gardens in one corner of the extensive grounds, the bungalows are housed in a number of small 'cottage style' units with rooms on the ground or first floor.
