Stephanou Inn

4 kms to the south of Stoupa and 10 kms from Kardamili, the Stephanou Inn occupies a central but quiet location in the charmingly traditional and picturesque fishing village of Aghios Nikolaos.

Just 200m behind the harbour, its five stone buildings house ten studios and apartments. They are spacious and beautifully done, with exposed stone walls, wooden ceilings, top quality furnishings and stylish décor. All possess WiFi, AC (local charge) and TV.

The studios are double-bedded and possess kitchenette (rings and fridge), modern shower room with hairdryer, and open onto a generous covered terrace to the front. Very roomy (41 sq m), they have space enough for an open-plan living area with a double sofa bed for an adult or two children.

The 2-bedroom maisonettes are on two floors and possess ground floor living room and kitchen area (with full cooker), shower room and terrace. The first floor houses two bedrooms - either two doubles or one double and one single - with a large covered balcony off (partial sea views from here, over the rooftops) and a second shower room (some with bath also). AC is available at a local charge and a double futon bed in the living room area for one adult or two smaller children.

The lovely freshwater pool has a children’s section and a covered seating area where guests can enjoy an excellent breakfast, drinks and snacks. It is where you will usually find the helpful owner, Angelique, who can offer her guests Greek cookery lessons and wine tasting (subject to numbers and at a local charge).

All the amenities of the village, which has some ten tavernas, various shops and a bike hire place, are within a few minutes’ walk, and Pantazi beach is a 20 minute walk.

Air Conditioning: available at a local daily charge of 7 euros (studio) and 14-21 euros (maisonette, depending on whether 2 or 3 AC units).

Amenities include AC (local charge), WiFi, TV, hairdryer.
