Kerveli Village Hotel

This most comfortable hotel is built in lush natural surroundings overlooking beautiful Kerveli Bay and has stunning views towards Turkey.

Some of the 62 rooms are in the main building, but most are housed in separate buildings dotted around the carefully landscaped grounds, Below, reached by steps, is a pair of shingle coves – the hotel’s and pretty Platanaki next door - and a pontoon from which you can swim into deep water. Sun beds and umbrellas are free for hotel guests and snorkelling equipment can be hired.

Rooms are tastefully furnished and have air conditioning available during July and August as well as during other hotter periods at the hotel's discretion. All Standard rooms possess WiFi, a safety deposit box (local charge 1€ per day), TV, fridge (local charge 3€ per day), hairdryer, bath or shower and balcony or patio with garden view or views to the sea over the trees. Beach towels cost € 1.50 per day. Please note these local prices are based on 2026 charges.

Superior sea view rooms have the best views and guests here have a safety deposit box, fridge and beach towels included at no extra local charges.

The pool is of a good size and has a children’s section. The mature gardens are beautiful, and there are plenty of places from which to sit in sunshine or shade and admire the views.

Breakfast, bar lunches and buffet evening meals can be taken either in the restaurant or on the pool terrace overlooking the sea, and we consider half board to be very good value (see below). Two well-liked local tavernas can be found within a 5-10 minute walk.

The hotel operates a courtesy bus to Samos Town twice daily (except Sundays) and also offers a range of activities, including mountain bike rental, scuba diving, sea kayak rental, boat trips/water taxi to nearby beaches (shared or private, perhaps with a picnic) and snorkeling trips.

Kerveli remains comparatively peaceful even in August so this is a good choice if you wish to escape the high season crowds.

Due to the hillside location and number of steps we would not recommend a stay here to anyone with mobility problems.
