Blue Green Bay Hotel

Dazzling white-pebble Panormos beach, backed by rolling green hills reflecting into an aquamarine sea, is one of Skopelos' finest. The hotel comprises just 16 rooms, a mix of standard or superior doubles and a pair of larger suites. All have stylish contemporary furnishings, with walk-in shower and a furnished balcony or terrace with pool or sea views. Standard rooms are on the ground floor or first floor - some have a sofa-bed for a small child (up to the age of 6). The pair of superior rooms on the top floor are for couples only and boast fabulous views over the bay to the forested hills opposite.

The Panorama Suites are also upper floor and have one double bedroom (king-size bed) and a separate living room with a sofa bed for an adult or child. There are two sea view balconies from which to make the most of the views.

From the hotel it is but a few minutes' easy walk to the small resort behind the beach, which includes some half-dozen taverna restaurants, a couple of cafes and a small shop or two.

For further exploration there is a regular bus service to Skopelos Town 17 kms away that takes 30 minutes via the pretty fishing harbour of Agnondas and popular Stafilos beach. If you hire a car, a short cut over the hills brings you to town in just 20 minutes (12 kms). There is a string of equally lovely beaches just a short distance to the north - also on the bus route - including Milia, Kastani and Hovolo.
