Palazzo Gattini Hotel

The hotel is set in a 15th century stone palace in the historic centre of Matera overlooking the Sassi di Matera caves and situated in Duomo Piazza opposite the cathedral. Guests will be immersed in the history and glories of one of the oldest noble families of Matera. Due to the age of the building there is a myriad of corridors and staircases leading off the rooms which are all different sizes and shapes.  

There is a formal restaurant ‘Dom Matteo’ serving regional cuisine, a sophisticated cafe bar and an upscale spa in the converted cellars. The museums, shops and restaurants are all within walking distance of the hotel.
