Casa de Rosa Apartments

This newly built, family owned and run property is set within expansive gardens in a five acre olive grove which itself is immersed in the rural landscape of southwest Kefalonia on the area of Svoronata, There are two tavernas, two cafe-bars and a mini-market within a ten minute walk (500 metres) of the property. More restaurants and shops can be found a little further on and the lovely, sandy cove of Ai Helis beach is one kilometre away. Ammes Beach, also popular, is 1.8km away, close to the airport.

Although a car is not essential we consider it would be very useful. For those that need more buzz, the capital Argostoli and the lively resort of Lassi are only a 20-minute drive away. A small winery near Avithos Beach is a 5 minute drive. There are more excellent beaches also a short drive away and many small villages to explore. In fact, this is a very good base from which to explore the island and discover a number of very good local beaches.

There are 10 open plan superior studios of 40 sqm which can accommodate three persons in a double bed (6.5 ft long) and sofa bed. The studios on all three floors are air conditioned/heated, have free WiFi, satellite TV, mini-safe, a bathroom with shower, hairdryer and small kitchen with 2 hotplates, fridge, toaster and kettle. Each studio has a furnished balcony. Views are to the surrounding olive groves, orchards and surrounding mountains. Some studios also have a pool view.

The two 50 sq m one-bedroom apartments on the ground and first floor have the same facilities as the superior studios and comprise a bedroom with a double bed (6.5 ft), a separate living room with kitchen (with an oven) and two sofa beds (so as to accommodate 4 persons in all), shower room and furnished balcony with garden / mountain views.

The self-contained 55 sq m one bedroom mini-villa can accommodate from 2 to 4 persons. It is a little larger than the one-bedroom apartments and is equipped in the same way. It additionally has a large, furnished terrace.

All the studios, apartments and mini-villa have access to the 10m x 5m salt water swimming pool. Casa de Rosa offers a laundry service (local charge) and has private parking.

Studio

Studio (40 sqm) an open plan apartment, has a double bed and a living room with a sofa that it can convert to bed and can accommodate 3 persons. It also offers a small kitchen with hot plates, fridge, a bathroom with shower, air conditioning, TV, safe and free WiFi. The Superior Studio have a private furnished balcony with views of olive groves, orchards and surrounding mountains. Some Superior Studios have a pool view.

One Bedroom Apartment

One bedroom apartment (50 sqm) with a double bed, a living room area with 2 sofa-beds, a bathroom with shower, fully equipped kitchen with oven and 4 hons and a private furnished balcony with views of olive groves, pool, orchards and surrounding mountains. It is equipped with a modern TV, A/C, safe and free WiFi. The apartment can accommodate up to 4 people and is ideal for families

One Bedroom Mini Villa

One bedroom mini villa (55 sqm) with a double bed, a living room area with 2 sofa-beds, a bathroom with shower, fully equipped kitchen with microwave and a large private furnished terrace with views of olive groves, a shared swimming pool, orchards and surrounding mountains. Can accommodate from 2 to 4 persons.
