Marmelkroken

Located along the scenic route in Andoya, Marmelkroken is a beautiful and welcoming haven of nature and cultivated land. The lodge is located in a pristine area of west Andøy.

Marmelkroken has been sustainably cultivated for centuries. Every generation aims to leave the land in a better condition than the previous. Caring for the environment allows guests to enjoy a place of wild biodiversity and abundant food sources. Marmelkroken is the place where you can experience, breathe, eat and drink the wild north.

This setting provides a unique and rich experience of nature on the rugged northern coast of Norway. The sea, the beach meadows and the rocky shore are full of life, including a large number of bird species, cultivated land, scrub forest, bogs, birch forests, small streams, dense spruce forests and the closely accessible mountains. Here, you can explore the diversity of Andøya's nature, or just sit back, and enjoy the calm.

All accommodation has a private bathroom, WiFi and a private entrance and fantastic views of the mountains, lush countryside and the ocean. The apartments and double rooms can sleep two people and the family cottage containing one bedroom and a sleeping loft, can sleep four people. Self-catering is available in the apartments and in the family cottage.

There is a small lounge with a varied selection of books and games, and a laundry room with access to a washing machine and a dryer.

Breakfast is included, and dinner is available in the cosy dining room. The restaurant offers a menu featuring local ingredients harvested by Marmelkroken's staff or selected from local producers and will assist to meet any dietary preferences.

Marmelkroken is located in beautiful surroundings in the village of Bø, on the far side of Andøya. Guests can explore this unique place with a number of activities. Experience the heart of the rich arctic Nature with nature walks, bird watching and foraging all the while learning about the local culture.
