Octant Vila Monte

The Octant Vila Monte is a charming, country resort hotel, set within 9 hectares of land and located between Faro and Tavira in the eastern Algarve. A blend of Moorish and Mediterranean influences has created a beautiful rural retreat offering the perfect balance between nature and the sea. Fabulous countryside and distant sea views can be seen from the terraces of the Laranjal and the haute cuisine restaurant.
 
The bedrooms are located in three separate, themed buildings (Casa de Cima, Casa Patio and Laranjal) within the lush Mediterranean gardens, each one within 200 metres of the other. Casa de Cima is located in a tranquil adult only spot and affords privacy. Casa Patio is located opposite the outdoor swimming pool and pool side bar and Laranjal, located next to the restaurant with the same name, is a typical Andalusian styled building set around an orange tree grove and with a profusion of flowers cascading along the length of the 1st floor terrace wall above the ground floor inner courtyard.

Octant Vila Monte Experiences: A wide range of activities can be enjoyed locally including an outdoor cinema, tennis, yoga, hiking, horse riding in the Algarve hills, fishing, boating on the Ria Formosa and cycling. There are also several programs offered on set days including a horse-drawn carriage ride in Tavira, golf lessons, birdwatching, tasting oysters on board a local boat, a visit to Olhão market with the hotel chef, cooking master classes, snorkelling (to see seahorses), dolphin watching and sunbathing on a desert island.
