Casa Granados Boutique Hotel

Perched towards the top of the old town up a maze of cobbled streets this is a charming 4-star, eight bedroom boutique hotel set in a two hundred year old mansion which was the home of the composer Enrique Granados. This is an intimate, elegant place, with hanging, colourful gardens created on various terraces, spa and a beautifully set pool. Views from the terraces are down over the old town to the sea. Sandy, El Colodar beach is 140 metres down a paved path.

This is a gastronomic hotel with its Can Sophia restaurant set in the former patio of the house, a romantic location designed in glass and wrought iron which takes one back to the old glasshouses that were typical of the Jardin des Tuileries in Paris or those of Kensington Park in the 1930s.Chefs Arturo Rodriguez and Josep Pages specialise in contemporary style dishes using fresh local produce. A beautiful place to stay.
