Arctic Bath

The Arctic Bath is a hotel like no other; focused on the health and well-being of their guests. Their aim is to offer a sanctuary from the pressures of daily-life and to aid mindfullness and the rebalancing between body and spirit. 

Floating on the Lule river, the Arctic Bath combines sustainable materials and build credentials with innovative technology and design. Its architecture is inspired by the era of log-driving on the river. The exterior of the main building looks like a pile of sticks but its rugged appearance hides direct access to the Lule river for wild swimming (in winter the temperature is c. 2-4° ), two saunas, a steam room, two hot tubs, a plunge pool, a treatment room, a restaurant and small lounge/bar.

On the riverbank are three large, well-equipped and luxurious cabins (sleeping up to five people). With floor to ceiling windows, accommodation split over two floors, uninterrupted river views and a decked terrace, the environment calls for you to relax, slow-down and unwind. A further, three land suite cabins (sleeping up to two people) offer a tranquil retreat amongst the trees. 

Six cabins (sleeping two people) are floating on the river itself, connected to the land by a 12m pontoon walkway. 

A year-round destination. In the winter, visitors can experience harmonic cold baths and warm saunas under starry skies. During the summer time, the midnight sun makes swimming possible both in the day and at night.

Floating cabin (water), connected to the land by a private 12m pontoon, with queen-size bed, bathroom (shower), complimentary WiFi, minibar, a pellet stove and decked terrace. The floating cabin can accommodate two people.

Land suite cabin

Land cabin suite with bathroom (bath and shower), complimentary WiFi, minibar, floor-to-ceiling windows, a pellet stove and decked terrace. On a mezzanine floor above is a king-size bed (spiral staircase). The land cabin can accommodate two people.

Land cabin
