This exclusive cruise will take you through an impressive variety of environments inside the Grand Pantanal, journeying between Caceres and Jofre.

The itinerary details journeys from north to south. A similar cruise is available in the opposite direction.

Day 1 - Day of arrival

On arrival at Cuiaba airport, you will be transferred to the town of Caceres from where the cruise departs (213km). Lunch is provided en route.

Dinner and overnight onboard the cruise.

Day 2 - Taiaman Ecological Reserve – Searching for Jaguars

During the cruise there will be several outings or river safaris, these are offered onboard a comfortable and safe speedboat. The excursions explore lakes, river channels and lagoons and will go in search of jaguars and other wildlife which call these riverbanks and sand dunes their home.

Today, after an early breakfast, your river safari will explore the hidden waterways of the region. You'll return to the cruise boat for lunch and will spend a leisurely afternoon cruising downstream to the Taiaman Ecological Reserve.

Day 3 - Paraguay river – Searching for Jaguars

The Taiaman Ecological Reserve is a 70km long island. Today, in the speedboat, you will explore the right side known as ‘Braçinho’ whilst the cruise boat journeys along the Paraguay River channel to Formoso Bay.

After lunch onboard the cruise boat, you'll have the opportunity to join the second river safari of the day. You'll rejoin the cruise boat in the region known as Concepcion Port (in the 70s the cattle bred on the fields between Poconé and the Paraguay river, they were embarked in this Port and taken downstream to Corumbá in order to be transported by train to São Paulo city).

Day 4 - Amolar mountain chain – Searching for Jaguars

After breakfast, the morning river safari will depart on exploration of the surrounding bays and river channels in search of jaguars and other wildlife. Returning to the cruise boat will involve crossing two oft he largest bays on theParaguay River, the ‘Uberaba’ and ‘Gaiva’ bays, each more than 30km wide, it’s almost like crossing a sea.

Today's destination is the ‘Amolar’ mountain chain, an exceptional beautiful landscape. Here the giant water lilies are only one of the marvelous nature gifts to be observed. Lunch onboard.

Day 5 - Pantanal National Park – Searching for Jaguars

This morning, after breakfast, the cruise will continue to ‘Gaiva’ Hill to visit its archaeological site and nearby Acorizal Bay and the Caracara landmark. Lunch onboard.

In the afternoon, your river cruise will explore Burro bay, the main bay in the Pantanal National Park.

Dinner and overnight onboard the cruise boat in the proximity of the Negrao river.

Day 6 - Meeting of the waters’ State Park – Searching for Jaguars

The last full day onboard includes a safari of the Negrao and Negrinho rivers and a further safari exploring the ‘Meeting of the waters’ State Park and its labyrinth formed by the waters of the Piquiri, Three Brothers and Cuiaba rivers. Breakfast and lunch onboard.

Day 7 - Porto Jofre - Day of departure

After an early breakfast, you will disembark at Porto Jofre and then transferred to Cuiaba Airport for your onward travels.

The North Pantanal Cruise - Night 1 to 7

The North Pantanal Cruise will take you through an impressive variety of environments inside the Grand Pantanal. Travelling from Caceres to Porto Jofre and Porto Jofre to Caceres.

During the cruise there will be several outings or river safaris done in a very comfortable and safe speedboat. Exploring lakes, river channels and lagoons, searching for jaguars and other wildlife roaming along the riverbanks and sand dunes.

With 3 decks and just 5 cabins (sleeping up to 10 people), you’ll get to know the people onboard and create memorable experiences together. When you’re not out exploring, you can relax and unwind on the cruise’s sun deck. Or simply enjoy a lovely long lunch in the dining area or grill bar.

All packages include free mineral water, full board and shared group tours.

5 cabins - 1 cabin on the Main Deck and 4 cabins situated on the Middle Deck

Amenities/Leisure

Dining room serving regional dishes (buffet style)
Bar and grill area equipped with sound system. The bar offers soft drinks, beer, wine, distilled liquors, and some appetisers.
Full board: Breakfast from 06:30 am to 07:30 am. Lunch from 12:00 pm to 02:00 pm. Afternoon snack. Dinner from 08:00 pm to 09:30 pm.
