Located in the gastronomic and bohemian Lastarria district of Santiago, this iconic art deco style apartment block was restored and converted into a 38 room boutique hotel.

It was originally designed by the architect Luciano Kulczewski in the 1920’s - at the time it was the tallest building in Chile, the first with an electric lift and central heating.

The glamour and elegance of the 1920’s is showcased in a blend of period and art deco design.  Luciano K still retains many of its original fixtures and fittings, including the original lift ‘capsule’, marble staircases, polished wooden doors, wrought iron and a gargoyle leaning down from the roof. Modern features include a 300m² rooftop terrace with a bar, plunge pool and panoramic views of the surrounding forest and park.  In addition, there is a restaurant and wellness centre with a spa and sauna.  It is just a short walk to several museums, bars and restaurants.  Charming property and highly recommended.
