Group Tours

Sunvil has never been associated with groups. However, we have a sizeable department which has organised group departures over the last 10 years for several associations and individuals who specialise in wildlife, natural history, botany, painting and walking tours.

Our group arrangements are not confined to our traditional destinations but range throughout the world. They are put together meticulously by individuals who have been building these itineraries for many years and are generally marketed to closed user groups.

However, we have agreed with the organisers that we can offer places on these group departures to Sunvil clients who are interested in joining these very specialised itineraries.
Below is a list of the groups departing with Wildlife Travel in 2016 with a brief synopsis on each itinerary. Wildlife Travel holidays are aimed at those who enjoy general wildlife as well as specific interests, and who want a relaxed pace, comfortable travel, good company and a look at conservation and culture, whilst not missing out on the wildlife highlights. Wildlife Travel’s profits are donated to support nature conservation.

THE ALGARVE: easy birding and autumn migration
22nd to 29th September 2016. Leaders: Mike Symes with local guides
A week of easy birding in southern Portugal, a perfect introduction for beginners. We spend time at the coastal wetlands and salt pans of the Algarve, visit the Alentejo Plains to look for great bustards, and end our trip at the Cabo Sao Vicente, the south-western-most point of mainland Europe, where migrating birds gather before heading south.
