Heritage Hotel Kastelet

A stunning stone building dating from the 18th century and resembling a small square castle. Following a vast renovation and upgrade, the hotel has been awarded four stars and is a member of Historic Hotels Worldwide.

Built of traditional white Dalmatian stone, this features throughout, in original preserved arches, in rooms and in the beautiful inner square courtyard with its water fountain, olive trees and seating areas.

The beachfront location is truly that. Beachfront and about 10 paces from the front door brings you to the pretty pebble beach in front of the hotel.

There is an a la carte restaurant and a bar and guests may also use all facilities of the large four-star Hotel Alga located directly behind the Heritage Hotel Kastelet.

The design is light Mediterranean with fabrics and furniture keeping a white, beige and cream theme. All original stone features have been preserved including staircases, arches, columns.

The hotel is situated in a pedestrian zone so, if arriving by taxi, guests can be dropped just 20 metres from the hotel reception. It is centrally located in Tucepi close to bars, restaurants and shops.

This is a perfect hotel for couples because of the romantic ambience of a small boutique hotel in a historic building – there are just 28 rooms and suites.
