Lyra Hotel

The four-star Lyra Hotel stands on the site of the old village school in the serene village of Licko Petrovo Selo, just 7 km from the UNESCO protected Plitvice Lakes National Park. The hotel is one of the focuses of the villagers’ efforts to bring back life to what used to be a thriving community. Now, it is made up of a few hundred villagers, many of whom are more than 80 years old. It was in this area that the first signs of aggression broke out between Croatians and Serbs in the break-up of Yugoslavia in the 1990's.

Opened in 2019, the hotel’s first project was to help restore the damaged home of the elderly couple living next door! Guests can enjoy a seasonal outdoor pool with a pool bar, a well‑equipped fitness centre, and Restaurant Vega, which serves fresh regional and international dishes, with much of the produce sourced from family farms in the area.

The atmosphere here blends relaxed elegance with practical amenities, creating a warm base for families, nature lovers and couples alike.
