Akrotiri Beach Hotel

This highly rated 5 star 'adult friendly' hotel occupies an enviable location at the edge of Paleokastritsa on a rocky pine-clad headland with the sea on both sides. Wonderful sea views can therefore be had from everywhere in the hotel and steps lead down to lovely Agia Triada beach below.

The hotel has 125 rooms, either east-facing towards Liapades and open sea or west-facing over the first of Paleo’s three famous bays with a beautiful mountain backdrop.

All double rooms are spacious at 25 sq m and possess double or twin beds and a 6 sq m balcony from which to make the most of the views. Bay View rooms are on the west side of the hotel with fine views over Triada beach and the mountains behind Paleokastritsa. Superior East Side rooms are on the top two floors and have open sea views to the green hills of Liapades.

All rooms possess a contemporary walk-in shower, AC, WiFi, room safe, mini-fridge, TV, tea-making equipment, hairdryer, and most have a sofa-bed.

Swimmers have a choice of the large freshwater infinity pool (away from the rooms), swimming from a quiet decked area on the rocks below the hotel’s east side into deep water (great for snorkeling) or via a path and 75 steps down to sandy Agia Triada on the west side, which is organised and has the very nice Akron beach bar/restaurant behind, which has its own pool. From the beach you can rent a motor boat, pedalos, canoes, indulge in water sports or even scuba diving.

For wining and dining the hotel has a main terrace buffet restaurant for dinner, a main terrace bar (faces west so a wonderful venue for a sundowner), pool bar, beach bar and cafe. A choice of local restaurants can be found within a 10 minute walk. Boat trips for the sea caves and hidden beaches run from the harbour, a 25 minute walk away.
