A holiday here would appeal to those wanting to stay in a smaller village alternative to Naoussa and Parikia. Drios has everything you should need - some half-dozen taverna restaurants, a well stocked small supermarket, a clean beach and a good bus service north to Naoussa or south to Parikia. The village beach is mainly shingle but, Drios being in the south east of the island, it is close to some of the best beaches on the island, including magnificent Chrissy Akti (Golden Beach) just a short walk away.

The Alexander Suites is a modern, elegant accommodation located within a 10 minute walk of the beach (600m). Comprising just 6 spacious suites over three floors, plus a reception and garden area, most possess two bedrooms (one double with king-sized bed, one twin) plus a living room with light kitchen facilities, walk-in rainwater shower, and a covered balcony with fine views over the sea and Drionisi islet to Naxos (No.s 3 to 6) or a large furnished garden terrace (No.s 1 and 2).

Two suites - No.1 on the ground floor (twin beds) which is disabled-adapted and has wheelchair access, and the romantically furnished No.6 on the top floor (king-sized bed) - comprise one spacious open-plan room Junior Suite style. All have the benefits of air conditioning, WiFi, a room safe, mini-fridge, TV, hairdryer and a Nespresso coffee machine.

The garden has a lovely sitting area with sofas under the shade of a pergola - a delightfully restful place to relax.

32 sq m. On the ground floor. Open plan with twin beds, light kitchen facilities, a walk-in rainwater shower and a large furnished garden terrace. Amenities include air conditioning, WiFi, a room safe, mini-fridge, TV, hairdryer and a Nespresso coffee machine. This room has been adapted for disabled guests and has ramps for wheelchair access.

Suite 2

45 sq m. On the ground floor. Two bedrooms (one double with king-sized bed, one twin) plus a living room with light kitchen facilities, a walk-in rainwater shower, and a large furnished garden terrace.
