Antonis Villa

This lovely stone house is just 20m back from Emborios waterfront - an excellent position with harbour and sea views. It is attractively furnished in a blend of modern with traditional island style and has the atmosphere more of a home than a holiday villa.

The house is all on one level on the upper (first) floor and reached by a path and a few steps up from the harbour. Entrance is into a spacious, light and airy high ceilinged living room with a well equipped kitchen area (full cooker and fridge) to one end. There is a TV and a sofa bed for a child. French windows open onto the front stone balcony which has table, chairs and a sun umbrella and affords fine views to the harbour and bay over the roof of the house in front.

Off the living room are two bedrooms – one twin and one double (both air conditioned) – and a modern bathroom with walk-in shower. There is also a small shaded area you can sit to the rear of the house, overlooking the courtyard entrance.

Although you are just steps from the harbour and a a few minutes’ walk from a choice of some excellent local tavernas, the location is quiet. Guests staying here may also swim very close by, making use of the ladder situated on the quaysidewhich goes into very clear waters. Sandy Pondamos beach is an approximate 15 minute walk and small boats leave the harbour daily in season for trips to other beaches.
