Parga Beach Resort

This well established hotel offers top quality accommodation directly on lovely Valtos beach, which has a coveted Blue Flag and water sports available. Shaded by impressively large centuries-old olive trees, the hotel's gardens provide a peaceful natural retreat from the heat of the day.

The 135 spacious rooms and suites are housed in stone-built bungalow units within the gardens and are ground or first floor. They possess all the mod cons you would expect and twin or double beds with orthopaedic mattresses and pillow menu. Room service is available.

Premium rooms can sleep 2/3 adults plus a child. They are tastefully furnished in a classic style and some can interconnect. Each has a balcony or veranda overlooking the gardens and a few have partial sea views.

The Suites are mostly open plan with garden views - the Grand Bliss Suite comprises two separate rooms, the Horizon Suite has a kitchenette and sea views, and the Perfect Bliss Suite has its own small pool.

Rather than one large pool the hotel has four smaller ones plus a children's pool, so you can choose according to your mood. One is by the beach and four are quietly located in the gardens.

Directly on the beach is the hotel restaurant and beach snack bar. Pool/beach towels are provided free of charge although, as is common practice in Greece, sun beds on the beach are charged.

Hotel facilities include a wellness centre and spa, a fitness room, and for families a games room, a playground and a playroom (unsupervised).

Parga town is a 20 minute walk up and over the headland, but a regular water taxi service runs from the beach until at least 10pm and costs just a few Euros.

The Parga Beach would be a good choice for those with mobility difficulties as everything is on the flat and close to hand.

For a beach holiday in lovely surroundings and no little comfort close to one of the most attractive small seaside towns in Greece, we think a stay here would be hard to beat.
