The Park Hotel

A few hundred yards along the same street as the Olympia Hotel, the Park is a friendly and efficiently run hotel and a very good base from which to explore Thessaloniki. The rooms are modern and are with balcony. It is a 10 minute walk to the popular Aristotelous Square and the busy Ladadika area where all the restaurants, cafes, bars and ouzeri are located. Thessaloniki is a very vibrant town with a huge student population and is the most underrated of Greek cities as it is small, compact and has a wonderful promenade and seafront with cafes ideal for people watching. The museums, the ancient Greek and Roman sites which one stumbles upon everywhere are all within a 20 minute walk. In fact, right in front of this hotel is a partly excavated Roman site. A good value for money hotel.
