Arctic Light Snowmobile Tour
Explore the nature of Northern Norway with experienced guides, in an area that first introduced snowmobiling to the country. Experience the arctic light and beautiful scenery of one Europe’s last wildernesses as you depart Sorrisniva and cut through the fresh snow, following the snowmobile trail through Alta Valley to the Finnmark plateau. The sun and the Arctic light vary during the winter season and provide a wonderful vision across the horizon. After the tour, a visit to Sorrisniva Igloo Hotel the World’s northernmost ice hotel is included.

Dog Sled Tour
The sound of eager and expectant dogs fills the air as you enter the dog kennels. Say hello to the Alaskan huskies that are waiting to meet you. The guide will introduce you to your team of dogs and then help you to harness the team. After meeting your team of excited huskies you will head out into the forest and over the frozen landscape. At the end of the tour you will have time to sit and relax around an open fire with a hot drink and homemade cake.

Dog Sledding along the Alta River

Frozen Landscape Snowmobile Tour
Ever wondered what it would be like to drive a snowmobile over a huge expanse of open space covered in nothing but white glistening snow? Well, wonder no more. On this tour you drive over frozen lakes up to the Finnmark mountain plateau. Upon arrival at the plateau, experience serenity as you sit in total silence and enjoy the ever-changing Arctic light. The group will then stop at Jotka Mountain Lodge for lunch, one of the only buildings in Finnmark that was not burnt down during World War II.

Northern Lights Hunt by minibus
This small group tour goes in search of the magical Northern Lights. You will be driven away from the artificial lights of the city, exploring parts of Alta, the coastline and depending on the weather your guide may drive up to the Finnmark plateau in search of the Aurora Borealis.

Try reindeer sledding, an exciting experience in the Arctic winter darkness. Your Sami guide will tell you stories about their past and present culture as you search for the Aurora Borealis. After the tour you will be served a hot drink and cake by the open fire inside a lavvo.

Sami Reindeer Sled tour
On this tour you will meet a Sami family and their reindeers. Your guide will tell you stories about their past and present culture. Take a reindeer sled tour (2-3 km) in the Alta valley. Afterwards you can warm up by the open fire in a lavvo with a hot drink and cake.
