Bjornfjell Mountain Lodge

The Bjornfjell Mountain Lodge is a small alpine hotel, offering modern accommodation, close to the Sarves park on the outskirts of Alta. This is a property for families and couples, and a destination where you can be as active or as relaxed as you desire.

Guest accommodation is divided between a hotel building with 15 guest rooms and five detached cabins. Each has been completed to a high standard and designed to ensure that the surrounding environment takes centre stage.

The focus of the cabins are the floor-to-ceiling windows that allow the natural surroundings and light to flood in. It is easy to while-away the hours enjoying the scene of pine forests and mountains that unfolds before your eyes, especially when seated on the cosy window ledges.

During the summer months hiking and cycling are popular activities for guests. In the winter skiing, snowshoeing and fat biking are on offer. The northern lights and the midnight sun can be enjoyed from this location. In fact, it is possible to observe the dancing Aurora from the comfort of your cabin thanks to the lack of light pollution.
