Hotel Terramar

A cool, summery, family run 3-star hotel on the beachfront of Llafranc. You really could not get closer to the beach and much the same can be said about this hotel as for the Llafranc Hotel, which is located one hundred metres along the front, from the point of view of style, ambience and location. The sandy beach of Llafranc is a few steps across the road.

Furnishings are simple and contemporary and views from the rooftop terrace, the restaurant and terrace superb. The sound of the sea is always with you when you are staying here. The hotel has been owned and run by the Negra family (now fourth generation) since it was opened in 1933 ensuring traditional service from staff that have long served at the hotel. The restaurant serves fresh locally caught fish including sea bass and cod as well as several local dishes.

This is really the most beautiful stretch of coastline in Spain and the walk along the front to Tamariu in the east and Calella in the west is a must.

NOTES:

• A 2-hour private walking tour of Begur, Calella de Palafrugell or Palamos can be pre-booked to enhance your stay in the area. Prices on request.
• The beach at Llafranc is closed for cleaning every year for a week at the beginning of the season  - usually just after Easter.
