Get in touchFernando do Noronha, a mountainous archipelago, is located in the Atlantic Ocean off the North East coast of Brazil. Consisting of 21 small islands, the area is divided into a National Marine Reserve and Environmental Proctected Area and since 2007 declared a UNESCO Site of Natural World Heritage.
The warm waters off the coast of these islands make for a perfect environment for many fish, turtles, reef sharks and a breeding area for Spinner dolphins; ideal for snorkelling and considered one of the best places in the World for SCUBA diving due to the crystal waters.
The main island of the same name is the only island inhabited and can be reached by flight from either Natal or Recife. Accommodation here ranges from basic to elegant pousadas, although none are beach front in order to preserve the coast, some offer great views.
