La Paloma Lodge

La Paloma Lodge sits atop a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, backed by the lush tropical jungle. The property, which can be reached by plane or by boat, is located on 14 acres; just a short walk from the Agujitas River and secluded black-sand beaches.

The accommodations consist of 7 bungalows and 4 rooms, all are equipped with air-conditioning and offer a sanctuary for those looking to reconnect with nature.

From your balcony, watch monkeys playing in the trees, catch a glimpse of scarlet macaws soaring overhead or relax poolside with your favourite book.

The swimming pool and restaurant areas are perched on the hill with excellent views of the bay and the forest which surrounds the lodge. Wifi is available in the main dining room, however, it can be limited due to the remoteness of the lodge.

Nearby, Corcovado National Park boasts an incredible number of wildlife species including jaguars, tapirs, sloths, anteaters and four species of monkeys - squirrel, white-faced capuchin, spider & howler. Bird lovers will delight in seeing toucans, scarlet macaws, herons, hummingbirds & tanagers. Caño Island Biological Reserve offers water lovers a chance to dive and snorkel in its clear, turquoise waters. Mantas, sea turtles, dolphins and an array of fish can be seen here.
